Since its inception, Harlem Textile Works has successfully trained African American and Latino youth in silkscreen printing techniques and art and textile design, while nurturing and cultivating within them an entrepreneurial spirit.

Our interns have graduated from institutions of higher education, secured positions in the design, fashion, and advertising industries, or pursued careers at museums and other cultural entities.

Unique designs created by our youth adorn clothing, hand-printed fabrics, and note-cards. Clients like Hallmark, Inc., and J.C. Penney Soft have been purchased our soft products for the home furnishings industry. So can you!
